Being a shabu-shabu/steamboat junkie, i constantly have to hunt new place for the food, and one fine day i came across this post and decided to explore the NZX, my first time there. Damn I am so out!
100°C is not easy to find since i thought it was a roadside shop, little did i know that it is hidden in theNZX mall. Uh..
If it is not for this signboard sticking out in the alley, i would not have found this shop. I didn’t think that NZX was a shopping mall.
The variety of sauces they have! Goodness i love sauces!
They have tartar sauce, fried garlic oil, cincaluk, my fav is satay sauce. Order extra eggs for 2 at RM0.90 each. It is cheaper compared to the usual RM1.20 at other outlets.
My sliced chicken set at RM9.80. The price is reasonable for the portion. I hope they will not increase the price like the 1+1 shabu-shabu in One-U did. I don’t like that place anymore.
1/2 dozens of escargots for RM9.80. Yummy i love snails!
My choice of broth: Golden porridge. It is actually thin thin porridge flavored by pumpkin. Love it! (my bf said it looked so gross, tell me it is not)
tip: towards the end of shabu, the porridge thickened and i chose to refill with herbal soup to thin down the broth.
His choklud pearl, RM4.50. It tasted nice initially, but as the ice melted and the powder at the bottom, it was…eeee..
The mess! The RM9.80 set was quite huge, i had only a bite of the noodles and returned all to them.
Pretty cozy and nice environment. They have both indoor and outdoor seatings.
Now, this is the shop front.
The total bill was RM38.55 with 5% of service charge. Well, I hope the damned 10% tax won’t come so soon. The parking to enter NZX is still free, but I think they are going to charge soon. One thing bad though was the location, LDP is always freaking jammed after work. Damn it.
Oh and oh, having read so many reviews, this is my next destination when i am there again!
P/S: i think i won’t go to NZX for any reasons other than the food.

Another way to go to Ara Damansara is via Federal Highway, make a turn towards Subang. You turn right somewhere along the road.
