Few days ago, I had a small gathering with my buddies. As there aren’t really many choices around, we decided to hang out in The Curve.

Night view along The Curve
There are really many food outlets in The Curve, from Eastern, Western, Chinese, Malay, Thai to local delicacies. It becomes even harder to decide what to eat when you are spoilt by choices. I think, sometimes, no choice is a good choice.
So, anyway, we were thinking to try something that never eaten before, which is at the Empress Cafe, It’s at the left hand side corner to the Cineplex building. It’s a very unique restaurant. Looking at the menu, I can’t tell what’s their specialities. They serve western food such as pizza, pasta, chicken ; easten food like local fried rice, sambal fried rice, nasi lemak.. etc. Varieties indeed.
So, the few of us decided to order something different each. We order fried rice, pizza, rosemary chicken and some drinks.

Spicy chicken pizza.
To my surprise, I found this pizza to be really good. Spicy chicken pizza was what they recommended to us. The crust is thin and crispy. Even better than the Domino’s thin crust! I’d definitely go back there again. Their pizzas range from RM24-RM30 and fried rice from RM9.90 - RM12.90, try it out when you pass by there next time.

P/S: For a the first look, I thought it was eXpress cafe.. gosh. This meal was treated by my friend, chief yap.

I have watched Saw I and II some years ago, I happened to watch Saw I in cinema, and found it quite interestingly gross.
Then, Saw II was out, gross, but I still watched until the end.
I am watching Saw III now, and after 30 mins, I think I can’t continue to watch, so so sickening and gross. It’s even grosser than the first 2 Saw. I am actually feeling nauseating and some kicks in my stomach… uh…I guess.. I can’t continue until I recompose myself. It’s amazing to see how people who constantly hate their lives so much, but regain the will to live in seconds even to the extend of mutilating to free themselves.
Gross….

Life[2] Comments

A friend of mine passed by Taman Tun this morning and saw the aftermath of this tragedy. A car actually rammed into a tree beside the road.

As you can see, the car has been damaged quite seriously, I do not know how/who/what conditioner of the driver is right now, but I certainly hope the victim will be fine.
I have no idea how this accident happened either, but, I hope everyone will be more careful and alert on the road. And remember, always keep your car in good condition to avoid any mishap. Even the radio says, drive carefully, and you can change the ending.

It’s lunch time and I am hungry, I can’t help but I keep looking at food pictures that make me hungrier.

Very cosy environment
I have been to Vietnam Kitchen in One-U for quite many times, I am almost a regular there. I like the food and environment there. The ambiance there is really comfortable, the lighting, the crystal music… etc. Let me briefly introduce some of the food.

Lemon Grass Chicken Chop, about RM 9.90, quite worth it.

Portugese Chicken Chop, about RM16.90, inclusive of a sour plum drink. I really like the mashed potato, it’s not like the mashed potato you eat in KFC

This is quite special, Sambal Fried Meehoon or something, about RM 11.90 or so, you can eat the crackers underneath the meehoon till the last bit.

Ah hah..this is my all time favourite. Seafood noodles, it was RM9.90, but it’s RM11.90 now! !
One thing is, if I like something in a particular restaurant, I always end up ordering the same food, I always have bad experience in trying out new food and I always regret. So, good old thing can’t go wrong. My fav drink there is their avocado juice, very thick and original. But like most restaurants, drinks are usually expensive.
If you ever pass by Vietnam Kitchen in One-U, you should pop in and try it out. By the way, I find it hard to say vietnam kitchen, I always say..vietname chicken instead. Gosh.
