jia xiang kolomee

Ah, this trip, I ate this kolo mee twice in a row in 2 days. This is the branch in Marina Square.

dried kolomee

The classic dried kolo mee! I think this is the best of all noodles. The noodles are thin and springy. There is no where else with noodles like that. SGD$6 for this bowl, and it came with a soup.

There are 2 pieces of fresh prawns and 3 wantans in the soup. I love fresh prawns!

curry kolomee

I tried this curry kolo mee also. The curry was really thick.  But, the noodles were softened by the curry. Dried kolo mee is still the best!  $6 for this too.

abalone vege

This is the abalone vegetables with oyster sauce. Yeah with abalone inside. SGD$6 for this bowl. Impressive eh.

AHHHH I wanna go there again!!!!

wooohooooo i am so excited!!!! because….

sarawak kolomee

Sarawak kolomee!!! Wait for me!!!

superdog

Supah dog!!!! Here i come!!!

Eat first, fat later! Weeee…be away for few days. till then. tata ^____________^

I went to this Old Town not damn long ago, and yeah, I went again the other day.

chicken hor fun

Yes, this time, I had their ’signature’ dish, Ipoh chicken hor fun, RM5.30.  Well, it wasn’t flaming good though, there are many much better food like this at the hawker center, this just lacks of some of the ooohmm you know.

nasi ayam rendang

Another signature dish, ayam rendang special, RM7.80. Well, there wasn’t anything really special about it. I like the biscuit though. I would definitely go elsewhere for this.

Their toast! This is a butter and kaya toast. Simple and nothing fancy, and should be priced at about RM2+.  The food wasn’t excellent, but it is a good place for a cuppa coffee and to hang out with friends, it is definitely cheaper there than in the Starbucks or coffeebean. And they provide free wifi too! This is the branch in low yat plaza.

Recently, I am quite into hard boiled egg. But, I must also say that peeling a hard boiled egg is not easy, it is an art. Now, let me tell you why.

I spent the first 2 minutes to rip off some of its skin. Not too pretty. But I guess it would be better.

Then, I spent the next 2 mins reaching this stage, literally struggling with the skin.

Look at the end results! Will you call this an egg? I swear I tried my best. But, life just sucks sometimes. Imagine your nasi lemak is served with this type of egg. Wouldn’t you just want to smash it to the boss?
