I am a lazy person, I hardly cook anything, even if i do cook, i will make sure that it is as simple as possible. And today, I had my own pan fried dory, like TGI’s style. It is really simple to make.
1. Buy dory fillet, defrost, then marinate with some salt, pepper, and basil leaves. Then leave it for like 1 or 2 hours for the taste to absorb.
2. Make some salad.
3. Boil a small potato, a hard boiled egg, mash the egg and the potato. Add some lettuce and mix with mayo and olive oil.
4. Refrigerate the salad.
5. When you finally want to eat, heat up your pan with some oil, I used olive oil though, just a few drops. Then when the oil is hot, dump your dory into the pan and wait for some minutes, then flip the other side.
6. Serve it when it is cooked!
It only took me about 8 mins or so to wait for the fillet to be cooked depending on the thickness. But it is very very yummy! Oh, you might want to squeeze some lemon juice on the fish too! Guarantee good!

Seriously, nothing beats fattening food.

Every time I pass by this hawker center, I would smell the fragrance of this fried oyster with egg or fried carrot cake. I mean, omg, how can someone not like this???
The price for this small plate is RM7, I think it is quite worth it since there were some big oysters in it. It tasted too good. Sigh. I want to go again! This is the o-chien from the Tea-Time in Taman Mayang, it’s just somewhere near Williams.

I am quite a sad 4-eye frog, technically speaking, I am only one eye blind, and my blindness has reached 375 for a single eye.
Well, i am not a big fan of glasses so i never remember to wear glasses. Yes, i have been relying on my single eye to see, walk, drive, eat, shit and sleep. It is amazing that that poor hardworking eye still in perfect condition. God loves me i know.
I have been hearing a lot of Focus point ads on the radio and yeah they are having some sales now, ranging from RM99 to RM168 including frame+lens. Sounds really cool right?
Since I have always wanted a pair of new glasses, so, without thinking much I went to the Sg wang branch since I was there as well. Obviously, being quite a miser, I don’t see the need to spend so much on my glasses, so, I inquired the sales dude to show me the promotional RM99 frames. And you know, he wasn’t really keen about me choosing the cheap frames. Of course he tried his best to persuade me to buy the expensive frames since they are just ‘abit’ more than my budget and they look better. Heck, by a bit more budget i am talking about RM200 to RM400. Damn. I was willing to spend about RM300 on frames+lens, but he kept introducing me those that were RM600+ and shit.
So, I insisted looking around the promotional frames. You know, the treatment was really different. When you want to look at expensive frames, you get to sit, and try on the frame, and they bring glasses to you. And, when you only want to buy the cheap stuff, they stand aside looking one kind. You know, that kind of ‘cheapskate don’t come and buy glasses’ face. HECK! I was giving him business.
Anyway, finally, I chose a pair of frames, and with lens it sets me back at RM280, nice pair of frames and still within my budget.
My lesson is: I would never step into Focus point again, or I would not bother a shit or opinion given by the sales dude. DAMN.
*** this is the branch in sg wang, parkson there.

I have been hearing a lot of credits about Tony Roma’s, and finally I went there myself. The Tony Roma’s in Sunway Pyramid.

They have free wifi also. I think the network key is their phone number or something.

They give free small frech loaf and garlic butter as starter. Somehow the butter looks like some ice cream to me. I even tasted it without the bread! Duh.

A hot chocolate, RM5.50, it’s abit too sweet to me. If you ask for plain water, it is free!

I think this is swiss sandwich. It tasted REAL good, but the portion is damn big, good enough for a cow. They dip fried the bread though. It’s oily, and there were quite a lot of stuff in the fillings, there were beef, some meat, some unknown meat, some fried onions and etc. But, you will feel sick if you finish the whole damn plate. For RM22.90, I think the price is okay.

This is some chicken sirloin sandwich. The chicken was grilled with cheese, and those on top were bacon strips. The chicken was tasty, look at the plate. Damn fattening.

Alternatively, you can cover it like this to hide your guilt. RM22.90 also.
I know you must be wondering why didn’t I eat the famous beef rack or etc. Oh yeah, I am going to try it next time I go. I heard the cod fish is damn good too. When they give you the receipt, you should keep it. I usually dump the receipt but i somehow got some 6th sense. On the receipt itself, they will ask you to go online and fill in a survey, and then you get the code, and together with your receipt and the survey code, you are entitled to RM10 off with minimum RM30 spending. COOL EH?
