Kluang is not a very big town, yet filled with quite a lot of food, at not very cheap price.
I love all the spicy food, especially curry and tomyam. I have been to this shop twice, and the owner often gets paranoid when you whip out your cam to snap a picture.
I can’t possibly steal their recipe by looking at the picture right?

This restaurant is located in Kluang Baru in Kluang. In fact, there are a couple of competitors around, but they basically taste the same.

Look at how thick the gravy is! Well, we prefer to choose slices of fish instead of half a fish head, sometimes the fish head is not descaled properly, so it is better to eat cut fish. Inside the curry, they have brinjal and long bean too. I wanna go again!
A small one priced at RM20, medium at RM25 and big one at RM30.

Hibiscus is our national flower. Look how cheerful and bright they look! And they are my parents’ latest addiction, hence, there are so many species of them in my house.

Look at how proud-looking it is! It should be. Why? It is the king of all!

Check out its size! It is even bigger than my palm! Well, sad to say that the flower will only bloom for a day. There is no eternal beauty.

Ahhh this is my favorite type. It looks funky right?

I guess this is secretly planning its big day, the blooming day when they get the most attention. What do you think they will grow to be? Rose? Carnation?

It is also a hibiscus! Doesn’t it look like a carnation?

It’s been quite some time Kluang Station made its name in Klang Valley, however, rumour has it that it is not aunthentic. So, where is the authentic kluang railway cofee?
Having been to Old Town and Old Taste, how can I miss out this the ‘real railway coffee’?

Picture taken from Weilian.

It was a crowded Saturday afternoon. I had to sit outside in the non-air conditioned area.

The decor indeed looks classic.

Their menu. The iced-drink here only costs RM2.00 where it is usually RM2.80 at other kopitiam.

al bread tasted the best.

Check out the melting butter! Like heaven! Fattening!

Having been friends with LiewCF and Weilian for about 10 years, we are all old now.
