Freshly roasted and cut, crispy cap, juicy meat…..
I am sure most of us enjoy pork right?
But do you know how pigs are roasted?

SIGH. My one-week long holiday is finally ending soon.
You might think with one week of enjoyment, I shouldn’t complain more right.
But, with all the love and food at home, I always have some big-time post-holiday trauma when I am back at work.
Does anyone else feel like crying every Sunday night with the thought of having to work the next day? :’(
My dad has planned all the makan trips for us.
Ikan bakar was one of the items! Juicy, spicy…ahhh!
Then, the long famous ah-fook satay.
Chicken satay @ 50cent per stick. Juicy, and almost without fatty meat. Who says Kajang satay is the best? Kluang has the best satay now!
And..fried chicken feet!!! 8 pcs for RM5.50.
It might look ewww if you hate it.
Say hello to my foot! It’s crispy and juicy… and it is not scrawny nor dry. The chicken feet has been marinated with ‘lam yu’, and tasted awesome. I can’t believe it is my first time having it despite the fact that I have been living in Kluang for about 20 years.
And hokkien mee is delicious too!
And finally, no need to go all the way to Muar for otak-otak.
At 60cent/pc, it is as good as the famous Muar otak-otak. I guess they must have bought it in bulk and then resell here.
SIGH.
Now, please motivate me to go back work on monday. ![]()

If you have been drooling over the larger-than-life prawns at Danny’s, with their current promotion, it is a MUST-go place now!
In fact, I went back to Danny’s a week after my first meal there.
Now, with order above RM120, you will get a steamed fish head for free!
A recommended dish by Danny: Fried Bean Curd with Pickle Lettuce and Meat (菜香豆腐) - Large @ RM20.00.
I love the crunchiness of fried choi-pok + minced meat! They are the best friend with fried tofu. We swept the plate clean
Braised Chicken with Salted Fish in Claypot (咸鱼滑鸡煲) - Small @ RM15.00.
While it is flavorful, but the chicken was abit too overcooked and it was oily at the bottom. Maybe they should look into the dish to improve it.
Lala Soup @ RM25.00.
Love the lala soup! It’s a mixture of wine, garlic and ginger, but there are not much annoying ginger strands in the soup. We had this on a rainy day, and our stomachs were warmed immediately! I definitely recommend this.

Warning: If you are up to cholesterol + adrenaline challenge, take the ride with me!
I have been to Solaris only 3x, all 3x for Ole-Ole Bali.
But we decided that, it is time for new food adventure!
One of the superstars of Danny’s Chinese Cuisine - Homemade Kon Nam Style Prawns.
It looks just like all other prawns right….
NOT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS!!!
Definitely not your average next-door-prawn. It was FULL of roes too! At only RM30/pc, all you need is half to satisfy you.
Next…the Q of crabbies…@ RM50.
Here I come!
Check the roes out!!!
The cholesterol is worth-while right…
Even Sidney couldn’t agree more. ( I am a great photographer ^_^ )
