Chinese[9] Comments
2 days ago, I had the chance to catch the premier of the movie Jump (跳出去) courtesy of a friend.
Expected nothing at all, this movie actually surprised me.

The story revolved Phoenix (Kitty) who was a village girl who dreamt of working in thecity. Upon reaching the city, Phoenix stumbled across something she would die for, hip hop dancing. With some luck, Phoenix managed to work in a dance school as a janitor. From there, she met her prince charming who was the most influential businessman in China. Will the prince charming look upon her and will she manage to be a dancer?

Japanese[16] Comments

Good food is meant to be shared! We celebrated Sidney’s mom birthday last week in ENJU Prince Hotel. She is a lovely and very cool lady. How many mothers do you know will enjoy Japanese food?
Spot Chef Thomas in the picture!

Craving for some fresh sashimi?

Check out the fine texture of each slice of sashimi

For appetizers, I am not sure about the name but I heard this is different appetizers will be served on daily basis. It is actually fried chicken fillet.

Tatami iwashi @ RM8.
It is made of cuttlefish, crispy, and non oily at all! Perfect to go with sake.

ENJU Dynamite roll @ RM22.
Oh dear, have you ever seen any sushi ONLY with sashimi and not the rice? The dynamite roll almost sent me to heaven! I love sashimi!!! And the new ala carte menu is actually very affordable.

Life[12] Comments
Martin Yan was in town and I had the privilege to watch him cooking LIVE, thanks to BigBoysOven.

It was of course exciting. I started watching his programs when I was about 9 or 10 years old.
How fast time flies eh?
More pictures in coming post.
Happy Monday people!

Food Recipe[15] Comments

Thanks to Coco for inviting us, a bunch (like about 20) of us conquered Oyster King in The Gardens. It is located next to the Korean stall Ko Hyang. We also celebrated Wilson’s birthday (again!).

Fried Oyster @ RM6
The round, firm and juicy oysters sitting on top on the omelet. Ever since my first failure of cooking o-chien myself, I told myself just to eat out instead.
All of us loved the o-chien! And only RM6 and in a shopping mall, it was worth every cent.

Garlic Oyster Noodles @ RM6.
This is something like hokkien mee but with more gravy. I loved this too as the gravy was good and you might bite into the juicy oysters in your noodles.

Pumpkin Cake @ RM5.
The cake has been steamed till soft, and paired with sauce and fried shallots, it was the perfect combination.

Dried Oyster Glutinous Rice @ RM6.
With achar on the side, it refreshes you after taking a bite from the glutinous rice.
