I bet all of you must be wondering how did I have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to fly an air craft right?
Truth is - I won myself a Valentine’s contest from Clive Magazine sponsored by Grey Goose Vodka.
Yes, I am lucky! ^^v It is definitely a great year to start 2010 already!

The private home for the small planes.

A private hanger near Subang air port. Public is not allowed. Unless you have the permission to enter.

Look!It looks really old-school. And the pilot seat is open!

The interior of the aircraft I took. I flew the way back. My bf flew departure trip.

Some scenery in the middle of sky. The aircraft was only flying underneath the clouds, we could still see the view clearly.
I only managed to take these few shots as I was already very extremely nauseous and threw up….

Upon arrival, we were served with Grey Goose Vodka. It’s really glam right? Totally superstar kind of thing.
And guess what? Since everything was meant to be a surprise, we had no idea what was awaiting us..then we were brought to a corner of oil palm estate to have lunch! And let the bugs have lunch as well. (haha)

The very exquisite settings in the oil palm estate! They have done such a great job that everything was arranged nicely, and they even setup notebook and speakers to play us some songs! I looked a little overdressed here….but I didn’t know where was I going.

Chinese New Year is coming really soon, and I am so so looking forward to having my mom’s specialty - braised duckie again! But with all the hassles of preparing, my family actually sort of decided that for the next CNY, we will just eat out! (Save me from being scolded by my mom because I am very clumsy in kitchen).

If you are also looking for a place to eat out, you might want to consider this House of Tang in Bangsar, the Chinese New Year Prosperity Set Menu starts from RM488+, RM688+, to RM888+ for 10 pax.
All collages are clickable for huge views.

行運齊撈生
Salmon Yee Sang with Crispy Shredded Treasures in Plum Dressing
For a start, of course we need to lou sang to kick off the CNY mood! I love the colorful dish, although it practically tastes similar everywhere, the trick is to have sufficient plum sauce the jazz up the dish!

福星添高照 干貝蚧肉冬瓜盅
Shark’s Fin Soup with Crab Meat and Dried Scallop in Winter Melon
The winter melon was one of the highlights as it looks REALLY cute! And the soup is so sweet.

榮華又富貴 紅燒元蹄
House of Tang Braised Pork Trotter
Everyone’s favorite of the night has to be this pork trotter. The meat was so tenderly soft, and with the gravy, the combination was perfect!

日式椒鹽明蝦 Japanese styles fleshy prawns (ming ha) and 亞參冬炎石斑魚 Assam ‘Tom Yam’ Garoupa Fish
When we were presented with the prawns, all of us admired the presentation. Don’t you just have to love the carrot-crafted pagoda?
The assam fish was done just right, not too sour nor spicy. We polished the plate with white rice.

Though it is already 2010, but I still have pending photos from 2009 that I want to share!

In the December of 2009, I attended friend’s engagement ceremony. It was my first time at Indian’s wedding and wearing saree!

My favorite shot of the night. The Bollywood style.

My first time wearing Saree! I almost struggled the whole night holding the Saree and camera. My friend spent an hour just wrapping the Saree for me! I somehow could really blend into the backdrop. LOL.

Then in the same month, we had our company annual dinner. It was a blasting event! One thing good about having a big camera is, people all posed my camera! I could hear them saying: Faster pose! It’s from The Star!
I almost choked and laughed, but hey at least I could get a complete shot of group photo.
