Although NN bosses haven’t said a single word about this, they probably think that this is no big deal. But someone else is obviously still pissed off, someone left a comment like this :
# ENUFFisENUFF Says:
June 15th, 2007 at 6:39 pm esad la. tim and ming got no balls. got to get pretty girls to comment to garner sympathy to hide the fact they are doing a bad job. sigh. who cares where the rum has gone. where are their balls? and most importantly, where is the money?
Well, what do you guys say?

Instead of talking it again on my blog, I’ll just do it here…
Anyway,it’s not a matter of “balls” but it’s really a tricky situation for them as illustrated on TenthOfMarch’s blog.
There’s no denying that telling the bloggers on CPC may have undesired effect as a whole.
So to defuse this matter, I propose to Nuffnang ( maybe Suet Li in this blog ) the following :
Maintain the philosophy of not disclosing whether it’s CPC or otherwise. Start a survey that will compel all its subscribers to choose the option they are interested in CPC ads in their blog.
For those, that are not interested, there won’t be future fuss on it’s CPC or otherwise.
For those who opted to have both option, should understand that disclosure of CPC on any particular ads would bring likelihood of click frauds.
That’s a better way out than informing which is CPC or otherwise.

Dear friends and Nuffnangers,
Please refer to http://sloppychic.com/?p=144#comments for my comments on the above matter.
I’m sure special attention will be paid to location of my … …
Freethinker, you pose a valid point. And I like the idea on first thought. As I mentioned in my previous comments, we will consult with many other groups before making a final decision. Major decisions demand prudence, and not haste.
Thanks for the opinions.

i wanted to comment on the part II but it was too long and involve somekind of Augurment, so i decided to put it here.
as a publisher, i feel been respected if they at least inform us what kind of ad is showing on our site.
frankly, RM 0.50 /click is not that attractive. and the ad campaign is running for the whole week. what is the chances of your visitor clicking the same ad twice a week??
still adsense is the best cpc model.

I am a bit late on this issue cos I only heard about it on Kelvin’s blog.
ahboon - LOL, 50 sen you say little ah? Adsense 3 cent usd only less than 10 sen wor. Real or not, 50 sen not attractive? You must be very kaya ledi. Give me 50 sen I oso hepi liao.
As for not revealing, I would say it is good cos I don’t want to be accused of click fraud too as I had been banned by Adsense for fradulent clicks. So by not knowing, it reduces click fraud, isn’t it?

well, whatever it is, click or impression, I certainly hope I have the right to know what’s placing on my blog before they place it.

will it solve a thing? What if I click on the ads regardless of it being CPC or not?
