Friday 13th was a bad bad day indeed. I shall not go to the bad part, but let’s see happy food instead.
I have been to TTDI plaza a couple of times, and this is my first time dining there. Not knowing what to choose, we decided to just eat in Bamboo Deli.
They have set menu where they offer 2 types of meal: Asian @ Rm19.90 while Western @ RM21.90. Both sets include: Drink, appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. And the portion was hell big!
For the western set, we had grilled chicken Caesar salad for appetizer. The chicken breast was warm and juicy, and look at the portion! You call this appetizer?
And roasted pumpkin soup with prawn as soup. It was yummy and creamy! Love this! At this point of time, i was already 3/4 full. We waited 20 mins for the appetizer to come, and another 30 mins for the main course.
My oven baked chicken, it was actually quite good. But i was seriously too full to enjoy this. Every bite was a misery as I had to gorge myself.
And grilled lamb chop was the other choice for Western set meals. The mutton was quite tender, and delicious! I stole a bite from this plate!
And longan creme brulee as dessert. It was soft and warm, and sweet. At this point of time, I could not down any food anymore.
I suggest order only 2 sets for 3 person, but one set for 2.
For the Asian set, tomyam soup was nice! And far behind was the spring roll with mango salad.
One of the choice: Nasi goreng Bamboo Deli (recommended by chef). It was totally buttery and tasteless! So, i guess order only western food from them.
And dripping-creamy-nipple-jello was the dessert.
Judging from the food portion, i paid only RM21.90 nett for my food, they have no tax YET. Pretty good deal eh? So, if you want to stuff yourself to maximum, this is the place to go!

Maybe there should serve in smaller portion, and reduce the price by RM2 or RM3…
I find many restaurant serve in sizes which are more suitable to Westerners.

Wow, the portion of tomyam soup is huge! And the lamb shank looked really yummy! Will definitely check this place out when I’m in the area next.

Lucky find! Not many places to Western food well. Interesting that the Asian set wasn’t so good. What’s the orange thing next to the oven baked chicken?

usually i’d have loathed caesar salad with chicken breasts. you sure your breast was juicy ah? they’re usually sooooo dry… (as in, the chicken breast la)
