Food

If you are a frequent of Kota Damansara, I am sure you see more and more food outlets each day. The problem with me sometimes is, I have no idea what to eat, and if I like one place, I have the tendency to revisit the place many times and eat the same thing over and over again.

But I figure it seems better to test out at new restaurants instead of frequent the same place again and again.

Restaurant Aunty Lan (Homemade Noodles) @ Kota Damansara

If you happen to be around in Kota Damansara and have no idea what to eat, perhaps you should try Restaurant Aunty Lan (Homemade Noodles). It’s cozy and it’s definitely your everyday food.

tea

Honey Mix Flowers Tea @ RM5.90 ans Honey Ginseng Rose Tea @ RM4.90.

I prefer hot tea sometimes, especially flowers tea at restaurants. I have rose buds at home…but for some reasons I always forget!

flower tea with honey

When you order your pot of tea, a little glass of honey is provided. I love my tea with honey <3

drumstick soy sauce noodles

Sweet Soy Sauce Village Chicken Dry Noodles @ RM9.90.

Ahh! The glazy soy sauce village chicken Look at the huge drumstick! The meat was soft and tender, fully absorbed with soy sauce. The combination with noodles went really well,  I can’t say the same if it were different types of noodles.

fishhead noodles

Cantonese Fish Head Meehoon @ RM8.90.

I am a huge fan of fish and I love meehoon!  But I think something is missing from the soup, there was no ” OMG I CAN”T STOP DRINKING” feeling…

curry chicken

Dry Curry Chicken Rice @ RM8.90.

Love the aromatic curry chicken and digging in rice with curry is one of my favorite.

My colleague yani is always telling me how good Piccadilly is…and how reasonable the price of the food is. And I finally had the chance to go there for lunch!

The big menu. Just a brief intro - Piccadilly is a major London street, running from Hyde Park Corner in the west to Piccadilly Circus in the east.

About 3 weeks ago, I was invited to explore Craft Brews @ Mutiara Damansara to have a taste of their beer, and pork ribs!

Delighted I was, beer and pork are seriously the best friends!

A very unique restaurant - just around the corner of traffic light with Tesco on your right.

Craft brews

Love the interior! See the pipes on the wall? It’s just decor but it really jazzed up the whole place.

And the glass interior makes the place feels spacious and relaxing.

The main ingredients for brewing beer…unfortunately, brewing your own liquor is illegal in Malaysia.

Thank god we can still pay to enjoy it.

See the colorful beers? First time I am seeing beer in green! The name is - Monster Green Lager, which the green is derived from spirulina. So..does it make the beer a healthier choice now? LOL.

The 2 color beers are from Singapore-based Reddot Brewhouse, English Ale and Monster Green Lager respectively. They are also the premium beer. Make sure that you try them out if you are ever there.
