Warning! Quite many pictures!
Some days ago, I met up with HuaiBin while he was down in KL. And also met up with KY and Ringo for a dinner together. This is actually my first time meeting other bloggers. Oh, shy nye!
It’s actually my 2nd time dining in the Gardens, my first time was in Go-Gung, which is opposite this Fong Lye.
HB’s gf’s meal - taiwan braised beef noodle: RM19.80. It looks so tasty and all shiny!
KY’s pork intestines set - RM17.80.
The soup is spicy and sourish. But spare parts are not really my type of food, can you see the pork-jelly swimming in the soup?
HB’s 3 variety supreme diced chicken (3-cup chicken) set: RM19.80. I had a piece of this and it’s really tasty!
Glossy and juicy claypot 3-cup chicken!
This is Ringo’s hot & spicy dimsum: RM16.50. It certainly lives up to its name - hot & spicy. I wonder why they call it dimsum though. It’s not the siewmai or whatever we always eat. It’s actually a combo of tofu, beancurd and etc.
And…my gorgeous beef-roll! RM10.30. I know it looks less-gorgeous compared to all of the above, but it actually tastes ok.
And at last, peanut snow mountain - RM8.30 as dessert. I know it looks one-kind, but it is actually very rich and tastes like the peanut butter jam!
It was 9pm+ and still crowded! I wonder how people eat late and stay thin.
I will definitely go back to this place to try out the food next time
And yeah HB, let’s go to solace next time!
This is located at the top floor, opposite Borders.

The pot for the soup doesn’t look so great…
BTW, 蓬莱 is pronounced Peng-Lai. The owner got it wrong.

I have yet to blog about this, there’s a HUGE backlog of KL posts.

Not sure how 蓬 is pronounced in Cantonese, but 莱 should be ‘loi’…
