This new restaurant naming ‘Steamboat’ is located at the Ikano, LG. It is something like that 1+1 shabu shabu in One-U.
But, their food is much cheaper compared to the sets in 1+1, quite worth it. The most basic personal set costs about <RM10 per pax.
Tomyam soup, hot and spicy. But it was oily.
I had to remove the oil manually. Once you remove the oil, the tomyam became less shiny.
This is the curry chicken set, RM8.90. There is even curry soup base for you. But it was think, don’t go for the curry one. This is the curry chicken set, but of course you can choose your own soup base.
This is my beef set. Only 4 pcs of beef, RM9.90. But, I quite like this and you will definitely feel full after eating whole set. Actually, it is nothing different than ordering a bowl of tomyam, but you DIY, cook this yourself.
I ordered this extra, RM3. I luv this type of mushroom, but not from them, it had some woody smell. damn.
And, oh, by the way, you have to switch on the power to cook the soup yourself. They did not remind me and i forgot about it. I sad there like a dumbass waiting for no fire.
This place is quite affordable and I quite like the idea, i will go back there again for sure!
