Sloppy Chic

In conjuction to my post previously and the fact that it’s Friday today. Let me enlighten you with some dinner ideas. I guess pictures will speak more than words. I had it at the TGI’s in One-Utama.

After browsing the menu, I decided to order a set inclusive of an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert at RM39.90. Not cheap for a single person meal, well, it’s enough to feed 2 in fact. Ushh let’s see the pictures.

This is some ultimate magarita, with the salt at the edge of the glass, this drink costed RM24.90! Man, I thought it’s only RM12.00, the menu is misleading. They placed the picture of this drink under the category of RM12 Ultimate Magarita. Gosh! Well, it tastd quite good actually.

The appetizer that comes in the set. This is called Bruschetta, it’s really good! Garlic bread with salty tomato cubes. Very good combo and crispy bread!

My main course: chicken and shrimp pasta. The shrimp was very fresh and the meat was springy. With tomato paste. It costs RM27.90 individually. I carefully the main courses they offered in the set menu, some are in the menu but some are unique, means you can’t order it individually. Being a ’smart’ consumer, I chose the most expensive main course to come with my set. Kih kih kih.

Finally, here comes my dessert. At this point, I was already very very full. I ate 2 pcs of the appetizer bread, and I did not finish the pasta. *burp* We did not finish this cheese cake either.

This is the world’s famous TGI’s burger. The beef patty was awesome, very thick and juicy. I am drooling again. Damn. This burger is priced at RM24.90, well, of course you can’t compare this burger with the good-old-ramlee burger or MacD’s 1/4 Pounder.

This is my second time in TGI’s. I will try to dig my first visit’s photos out some day. I like the food there, but of course I can’t afford to eat it regularly. The bill came to about RM97.40 for 2 persons.
