The Larger-than-life Prawns @ Danny’s Chinese Cuisine - Solaris Mont Kiara
Posted by sloppychic under ChineseWarning: If you are up to cholesterol + adrenaline challenge, take the ride with me!
I have been to Solaris only 3x, all 3x for Ole-Ole Bali.
But we decided that, it is time for new food adventure!
One of the superstars of Danny’s Chinese Cuisine - Homemade Kon Nam Style Prawns.
It looks just like all other prawns right….
NOT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS!!!
Definitely not your average next-door-prawn. It was FULL of roes too! At only RM30/pc, all you need is half to satisfy you.
Next…the Q of crabbies…@ RM50.
Here I come!
Check the roes out!!!
The cholesterol is worth-while right…
Even Sidney couldn’t agree more. ( I am a great photographer ^_^ )
And look at Ken! He is all smiley!
Even lenglui-auntie is curious too!
The happy diners!
L - R : Sunny, Mr boss @ Danny, and Edward.
I was too amazed by the crab, so I had to take a moment to admire the rest of the star products of the restaurants.
Do you understand?
We should appreciate white rice!
Ok, back to more food.
Homemade Crispy Pork @ RM45.
It is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.
A Flavor Bone @ RM28.
Fats anyone? Me not a fan of fats, but I took a bite of the lean meat. Very flavorful and…excellent with steaming hot fried bun.
According to them: It was juicy and….juicy.
Rojak Beancurd Tauhu @ RM15 for Medium size. I love the sweet-sour + crispy tofu combination!
Last but not least, healthy dish to counter the cholesterol.
The whole bill came to RM338.80 for the 8 of us.
We definitely enjoyed the meal a lot, life couldn’t have been better right?
Now, they are having a promotion which with order RM120 above, you are entitled for a steamed fish head! Promotion from 15th September to 30th October 2009.
In fact, the food is so good that I went back again today for dinner with family, and was entitled for the fish head. Will post up in another post soon.

Trin: LOL imagine tht shrimp in bubba gump!
Foongpc: yeah rm30/prawn is worth the price. the essence of the poem on the wall is like: every single grain of rice in the bowl is exchanged by sweat and hardwork. so we must treasure the rice.
